چکیده
Traumatic dental injuries may result in functional, aesthetic and even psychological problems. Crown-root fracture is characterized as the fracture involving enamel, dentin and cementum. Management of crown-root fractures usually requires multidisciplinary treatment approaches. Several factors must be considered when choosing a treatment approach, including localization and degree to which biological width has been invaded, the pulpal involvement, the root development stage, the tooth eruption stage, availability of the fragment and the degree of its adaptation to the tooth remnant and concomitant alveolar bone injury. Our patient was a 9-year-old girl with the chief complaint of upper front tooth due to accidental fall. The fracture lines were extending from the center of the incisal edge going up to cervical third of the labial and palatal surfaces of the tooth. The purpose of this clinical brief report is to present the clinical management of a complicated crownroot fracture of a mature central incisor using surgical extrusion followed by esthetic rehabilitation.
